(Poetry) I’d been listening to Malcolm Gladwell’s audiobooks as well as his podcast, Revisionist History. And a message seeped into my brain. I don’t presume that Malcolm set out to make me feel that my life was/is one big waste of time. It’s just that I suddenly felt that way. It seems all of his happily ever after stories included these bits:
- tragic beginning
- regroup
- educate
- graduate
- career pursued
- wealth and status/fame
- happily ever after
- you can too!
It was an early morning back in November 5, 2020 that I realized that I was no longer capable nor interested in going back to step 1)
I felt as though I might as well be dead already, in fact I was dead, in a grave I didn’t dig… and so I began write it down, into a notepad note on my phone. And it must have been a sort of prayer, because I addressed God, and He answered me right then and there. But, enough preamble, Click <here> to read “Its Over”
