There is as a man who was older than many of us, but perhaps a bit younger than I. I am 63.
He had made the decision to follow Jesus, and on this day I want to bring into your mind, I knew it was the day he would be baptized in water, by our pastor, with all of us that were there to witness this wonderful event in his life.
(Yes the Body of Christ, his church, is larger than those that gathered, but we are a part of that larger church, that is all over the earth, and we that were there, are there for him, together!)
I went looking for him! He wasn’t hard to find. I gently interrupted him and his nephew, to tell him a simple thing.
Get ready for what comes when you walk in obedience to Christ. This is important what you are doing. Good things will come of this today.
His response was honest and true, and perhaps it was because of its simplicity my heart leaped for Joy!
I Hope so.
Uncle Keith
Today as I prayed, driving from A to B, I prayed for him. And God gave me the truth, to comfort me! Those who place their hope in me, will never be ashamed.
So I did a little research!

“…then you will know that I am the Lord; those who hope in me will not be disappointed”
No one who hopes in you
will ever be put to shame,
but shame will come on those
who are treacherous without cause.
31 but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”
16 So this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who relies on it will never be stricken with panic.
John 4:42 They said to the woman, “We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.”
