“Live your life as an Exclamation rather than an Explanation”

Just heard this quote yesterday, through a friend of mine.

Suchabunchalotta says, instead of wallowing about your life, (who?) just go about living your life. I don’t have to explain nuthin’ to you! People that are defensive think you have to explain yourself to people, but you just need to get on with your life, and enjoy your life. There’s no joy in explaining, the joy and excitement is held back by explaining, instead of JOY you’re worried about what the other person is thinking. My life is not a committee, its me. If it was a committee there’s discussion and then once all parties have had their say, there’s a vote, and there is forward movement.

I do have folks to consider, that are part of my life, because my decisions directly impact them. My wife and son, who live with me, support me and I support them. When they’re sick, I’m there for them, when they’re hurt at the side of the road, I get in my truck and pick them up, and take them where they need to go for medical assistance.

I’m now googling for what others have to say about this wonderful gem.
