• It might have been a year later that I finally picked it up, so that I could learn more things to make fun of it
• What I found instead, shall I tell you? Instead I learned something!

I find that I can be too intense, and overwhelming at times. When I’m with children – I’m a school bus driver now – I find listening more, and asking questions helps me to guide the conversation into safe territory.

• When a person, especially children, say bizarre or unexpected things… I keep my “calm under fire” demeanor… and say things like, “tell me more about that.
• The famous question I’m sure you’re gonna hear sooner than you like is “where do babies come from” let’s say you’re colouring a picture of a Mom and her Baby… is it ok to say something like, “hey! Yeah! Where do Baby’s come from? Yeah, that’s a good question.” Pause – where do you think they come from…
• Bobby (friend at school) says that…
• “Oh, hmmm… what do you think of what he said?” Or “please tell me more about that…
