…for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his.

I have so many times now, come to realize a mystery. The “rest” is the striving to become. The REST is realizing that I have become HIS.
Yes, John 1:12-13 tempers my extreme here:
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
I have the “power to become” but that’s the listening-obedience part!
Romans 12… I am a living sacrifice. My life, the life I live is God’s food. To Bless God? To bring him Joy?
I’m asking not telling.
I’m basking in this word.
