Theatre Interupted

Be careful of your theatre

When you rehearse how it’s going to go, and then it doesn’t turn out that way, you end up hurting your own feelings.

Cherish Fonseca

I see me, walking down the hallway, I’m on my way to more abuse

– I know what I did wrong –

I got a plan. I can fit in, I’ll make it work.

My sons and daughters, and grandchildren all gathered around for the feast we’ll have.

My eyes are half closed from the elixir, and as I wander down the hall, I suddenly see before me!

Go back! Wake up!

Go Back

I come to my senses.

I wander back to my room.

Crawl back into my bed.

Pull on the covers and go back to sleep.

When I wake up in the morning.

I realize it wasn’t a dream.

…but it could’ve been a nightmare.
