Moses was 120 years old when he died, yet his eyesight was clear, and he was as strong as ever.
My Cycling Journey — 2026
This is the continuing record of my cycling journey — one ride, one kilometre, and one month at a time.
What began as simply getting back on the bicycle has become a record of distance travelled, time spent riding, changing speed, changing weight, and perhaps most importantly, simply keeping going.

If I aspire to be like Moses… what an aspiration! But I can be inspired by him, can’t I?
The ESV rendering it this way>
“Moses was 120 years old when he died. His eye was undimmed, and his vigor unabated.”
I will do all I can to remain vigorous! A vessel for God. Together with my brothers and sisters in Christ.
There are still roads to ride.
I believe the commandments are summed up in Loving God, and my neighbour,
“Jesus answered, “The most important [commandment] is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.””
